Secrets of ancient Georgia
7 days / 6 nights
An opportunity not just to see the country, but to fully live its rhythm
7 days in Georgia — where mountains greet you with wine, and every morning begins with the word “gamarjoba”.
Welcome dinner, wine tastings, masterclasses — and no rush at all.
Arrival, airport pickup, first smiles and warm welcomes

Check-in, rest, and your first taste of soulful Tbilisi — the Old Town, sulfur baths, and the Bridge of Peace

🥂 In the evening — a true Georgian welcome dinner:

  • Khinkali, khachapuri, and qvevri wine
  • Traditional dances and live polyphonic singing
  • Toasts that make you want to stand up
  • That very evening when it all truly begins.
Day 1. Gamarjoba, sweet Georgia!
Day 2. Mtskheta and Jvari: the spirit of the ancient capital
We’ll visit sacred places where Georgian faith was born.

📍 In the morning, we head to the ancient capital, Mtskheta — the first heart of Christian Georgia.

  • Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the robe of Christ is said to be buried
  • Jvari Monastery, rising above the confluence of two rivers

  • The meeting of Aragvi and Mtkvari — the very spot Lermontov wrote about in “Mtsyri”
  • Breathtaking panoramic views

📍 After that — the Chronicles of Georgia monument near the Tbilisi Sea

One of the most impressive modern art pieces in the country, created by Zurab Tsereteli.

We return to Tbilisi for a free evening — perfect for strolling and shopping.
This day is for those who’ve dreamed of the mountains.
We’ll travel along the Georgian Military Highway — one of the most scenic roads in all of Europe.

📍 Along the way:

  • Ananuri Fortress — a fairytale castle by the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir
  • Zhinvali Lake — a calm mirror among the hills

  • Friendship Arch — a panoramic art monument with stunning views of valleys and ridges
  • Waterfalls, canyons, mountain tunnels — you’ll want to stop again and again
  • Gergeti Trinity Church against the backdrop of Mount Kazbek — where it feels like the sky is breathing right at you

🍽 For lunch, we stop in Pasanauri — the birthplace of real khinkali: juicy, peppery, and filled with happiness.

We return to Tbilisi full of impressions — and with the mountains in our hearts.
Day 3. Kazbegi: where the mountains speak to the sky
Day 4. Kakheti: the land of wine, love, and feasts
Today is the day when Georgia opens its heart.

📍 We head to Sighnaghi — the city of love and ornate balconies, overlooking the endless vineyards of the Alazani Valley.
Here, time slows down — and you simply enjoy the moment.

🍷 At a cozy family winery, we’re welcomed like old friends:

  • Tasting homemade qvevri wine

  • Heartfelt toasts and life stories

  • A true Kakhetian feast with aromatic dishes and a warm, joyful atmosphere

👩‍🍳 Plus a hands-on masterclass: make your own khinkali or roll churchkhela, just like they do in Georgian homes.

🌅 We return to Tbilisi with soft conversations and warm smiles — a day that will stay with you forever.
This day is yours.
To simply live, make no plans, take a walk, buy souvenirs, have lunch by the river, or relax at the spa.

Your body will say “thank you.”
Day 5. Rest in silence
Day 6. Dashbashi: a breathtaking bridge over the canyon
Here, you’ll feel what it means to rise above the ordinary.

📍 A glass bridge suspended above the canyon — 240 meters in the air. One step, and your heart skips a beat

📍 Extreme swings and a “bike in the sky” — for the brave (optional)

📍 Trails, waterfalls, panoramic views — every photo looks like a postcard

🌊 On the way back — a scenic stop at the Algeti Reservoir

🍽 Lunch in the cozy village of Asureti
🏘 And a stroll through an old German settlement
Airport transfer. In your luggage — wine, souvenirs, and hundreds of new memories.

And in your heart — the Georgian “chireba”instead of “goodbye”

I want to thank EVA TOUR for organizing private tours in Georgia.
Special thanks to David for the amazing tour to Dashbashi — we walked across the glass bridge and saw stunning views.
David told us a lot about Georgia and even took us to a cozy café with delicious food at a great price.
I can’t wait to come back and explore more — there are so many tours still ahead!

Hi there! I promised to leave a review.
We were lucky to have a tour with Shalva — one of the best trips we had in Georgia!
Huge thanks for his stories, passion for history, and how deeply he was involved in our journey.
If I could rate it out of 10, I’d give it 20!
By the way, we also joined a group tour to Kazbegi — and even with the weather and the road conditions, we still loved it!
Highly recommend!

Special thanks to our guide Alik, who gave us a truly wonderful and interesting day.
I’m not originally from Georgia, but I learned so much today and really enjoyed the stories.
We even heard a singer perform live — what a bonus!
Thank you again. I’d love to book another tour to Rabati — and of course, only with Alik!
